That’s an interesting portrait in the background of a horned skull creature. I can’t help wondering exactly what Mage Logi has going on with it, that it deserves a framed spot on the wall! Maybe Jessicat can bring it to life and interpret what it says? It looks vaguely animal-ish…
I love these character’s personalities! They mix together for the perfect blend of serious, plot-advancing dialogue and side-splitting hilarity. Can’t wait for the next page!
Okay, let’s see…
The bird is a perma-pun because it makes Kieran’s hair a literal bird’s nest, and that makes me giggle, and the Yiddish word for giggle (chichiken) sounds an awful lot like chicken (especially if you try and say it while you’re laughing), although that’s clearly not a chicken…. Hm.
Nah.
I’m going to call that bird Tsichik!
Because even more puns that way (tsi = ‘nothing’ in Hmong which is the notice everyone takes, and ‘chik’ for chick, and it sounds a bit like the noise birds make).
And if I slip and call it Chichiken or TsiChicken or Tsichiken then it still works. 😀
(Some birds probably try and confuse themselves with migration in this crazy world, this bird has it all figured out. Find a migrating nest and then never leave it…)
Syuch a cute comic, I check here about once a month. Love the violin theme. I play it myself and you do it justice. Are you planning on an update or has the last string sprung?
Wait, is Dan reading “Crime and Punishment?” Does he like it?
He thought it was “fantastic”.
LOL :0
I’ve got 5% of the vote over there >>>

Nope, changed my mind. Clearly it’s a spirit.

No seriously, where’s the next page?
It will come! I’m so sorry real life has taken over temporarily, but i have a script and am going to update soon.
It’s gathering the allure of expectation, Ashonai. Clearly comic pages in this ‘verse are like cheese and wine. They must age before consumption.
Binge read this comic when I woke up around 9. Its now 12 and I’m caught up, WHAT DO I DO WITH MY DAY NOW!?!?!?
Will the bird on his head ever get a name?
You are welcome to call it what you like! I never considered it, and nobody seems to notice it’s there, not even Kieran…

I am planning on updating! So sorry it’s been such a long time. Life has a way of getting in the way and I’m juggling so much right now.
