I have been told I have a propensity for speaking in riddles….I think I finally understand my listeners! and find new brotherhood with dear Logi
Riddlers of the world, unite!
makes perfect sense, she would use magic in the same way that a human might use their body in unconventional ways. attempting to grab something from under a couch, a human’s first reflex would be the use of their hand. only when they are unable to reach it with a hand will they attempt to use either tools or legs. imagining magic as another limb, let’s say large wings, it would spring earlier to mind to get the item some other way than to move the table, lie down on your back and awkwardly attempt to scoop it up with a wing. while some kind of magic would be an omnipresent option for jessica, quickly skimming most of the comic i could not find any situation where she got past referring to someone else or solving it mundanely before she was either stopped or the situation ended.
